We’re super excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with Desert Fish Studios to bring you videos of new contemporary musical theatre! “Live at Desert Fish Studios” is a series of videos that feature some of our favourite singers performing Colleen & Akiva songs, recorded live off the floor in downtown Toronto.

Our first video featured Colleen herself, singing an extended version of the song “Spotlight” from Bremen Rock City:

Next up is a heartfelt rendition of our song “Drive” performed by one of our favourite male vocalists in Toronto. Nathan Carroll is not only one of our best friends, but a superbly talented actor and singer, fresh off his run in the Patrick Street Productions/Talk is Free Theatre’s Floyd Collins. Nathan premiered this standalone song live a few years back, so it felt perfect to invite him into the studio for the recorded version.
