Check it out, a new show! As participants in the Noteworthy program with Acting Up Stage in 2013, we had the pleasure of working with playwright Steven Gallagher (Memorial, Stealing Sam). Together, over the course of three days, we wrote a 10-minute musical called VALENTINE.

When I (Colleen) was asked to co-host a Valentine’s variety show at Statler’s Piano Lounge in Toronto on Feb 14, 2014, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to revisit this project, and showcase it to an audience. We have been lucky enough to snag two amazing performers for this show – Jeigh Madjus (fresh from the hit off-Broadway run of Here Lies Love) and Seth Drabinsky (who wowed us as the title character in Breathe Feel Love’s production of Hedwig & The Angry Inch).

It’s going to be an awesome night filled with many musical guests, as well as comedy, theatre, and much more. So whether you’ve got a partner in crime, or you’re flying solo, come hang with us at “Baby, Don’t Save Me” – A Valentine’s Variety Show at Statler’s this Valentine’s Day!
